Two boys sit on U Bein Bridge

I came across this scene of two boys that appeared to come from two very different backgrounds. It was interesting to see them playing together; smiling, laughing, and generally getting on as kids their age do, yet their attire made it woefully clear that when these two boys went home that evening, they would be going home to two very different lifestyles.

For me, this was a refreshing reminder that the social barriers we construct around ourselves, or those constructed around us without any help from us, are feeble barriers and we could let them crumble to ruin if we can just remember to see the world through childhood eyes from time to time.
